Jeana Sohn
was born and raised in a small village called Hyoja in a small city called Pohang in a small country called Korea. Jeana’s parents pushed her early on to pursue a career as a concert pianist, but her fingers were too stubby for musical greatness… Instead Jeana put her stubby fingers to good use drawing all day long until her stubby fingers were sore. Jeana and her stubby fingers attended university in Korea, completing a program in graphic design… She then relocated to the US to study character animation at the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts). Jeana currently lives in Los angeles with a psycho cat named Nylon and a stinky dog named Choco… She spends her time making paintings, children’s books, drawings, t-shirts, stuffed animals, movies, music, and murals.
